A Pollyanna Quarantine

We're weeks into Coronavirus Quarantine, and it doesn't look like it's letting up any time soon. I've gone from feeling absolutely liberated to completely isolated and back in a matter of minutes.
I'm time rich for the first time in my life, and I'm actually loving it. How have you been keeping busy during quarantine?

#1. I have a 10 month old puppy that I can give all the love, attention, and training she deserves. Not only does she get me up and outside every single morning, but she also reminds me that the only moment that is guaranteed is the present one. It's strange to consider that an animal that has no concept of mindfulness and presence can encourage a human with 35 years of existence to be more in the moment.

"We may think we are nurturing our garden, but of course it's our garden that is really nurturing us."
#2. It's always been my dream to have an expansive garden that can not only satisfy my green thumb but offers sustenance and life. It's not yet a dream garden, but I have to admit that I'm pretty proud of my project. Already the garden has produced dill for homemade pickles and fresh basil for pasta night!

#3. Finally, quarantine has given me the time to write this. So if you're still reading, welcome to my new website and lifestyle blog. Please reach out, I'd love to hear what you've been up to during quarantine!
